Herb Burger
Something to do with Fresh Summer Herbs
This is the perfect burger for when you have fresh herbs in the garden. Adds an earthy, natural taste to grilled ground beef. As always, remember to use fresh, quality ingredients, buns and condiments.
Tequila Lime Chicken
Ingredients (makes 1.5 Cups)
1 lb. - Lean ground beef
1 Cup - Breadcrumbs (Italian or Plain are fine)
1 - Egg
2 TBSP - Lemon juice (use a real lemon)
2 TBSP - Fresh Basil, chopped
1 TBSP - Fresh Bhyme, chopped
3/4 TBSP - Fresh Rosemary, chopped
1 TBSP - Fresh Chives, chopped
1/2 tsp - Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp - Cracked Black Pepper
Directions
Give your fresh herbs a medium chop and remove all stems
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Form into large or small patties, whatever
Grill or Smoke over ~400 degree heat until burgers register 155 (will go up to 160 when resting)
Remove Burgers and let them rest covered in foil for 10 minutes.
Serve with fresh Kaiser or Sourdough Buns, Sweet Pickles, and good Spicy Mustard.
